The presentation will dwell on the current energy supply scenario in Germany, as well as the historical and political challenges related to that situation. It will also tackle how the country is adopting sustainable sources of energy, such as renewables, and how it is dealing with the issue of nuclear energy as well. Lastly, the present energy cooperation bonds between Germany and Argentina, and between the European Union and Mercosur, will be explored too.

La presentación abordará inicialmente el panorama actual de abastecimiento energético en Alemania, así como los desafíos políticos e históricos subyacentes a dichas fuentes de energía, así como a las potenciales con las cuales basar los suministros en el futuro cercano. Se explorarán las políticas energéticas adoptadas en función de su sostenibilidad en el largo plazo y el escenario existente respecto a las energías renovables y a la energía nuclear.
